Ti Joe Watty's

Description

This month we are excited to feature Tí Joe Watty’s Pub & Seafood Bar at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way in Kilronan, Aran Islands, County Galway. This is one of the oldest pubs on the island of Inis Mór and is located at the crossroads of Dun Aengus (a magnificent stone fort built in 1100 B.C.) and a seal colony, so it is quite unique. Joe Watty’s is known for three things – food, drink, and music. The chefs take inspiration and ingredients from the wild Atlantic and specialize in fresh, local seafood. Barkeeps offer up perfect pints, and visitors are treated 7-days a week to some of the best trad sessions in Ireland. If you take the ferry to Inis Mór, you will find Joe Watty’s just a short walk from the pier, and depending on the weather you can choose to dine inside in front of the open fire, or enjoy a few drinks in the beer garden. Every visit to Joe Watty’s offers something new – be it a seasonal special, a fantastic local brew, some festive music, or the opportunity to learn a cúpla focal (a few words of Irish) from a local.
